Special Holy Mass for victims of Peshawar carnage held in America’s Church

New York: Former Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs and President PML Minorities Wing Akram Masih Gill has strongly condemned the most horrific, inhuman and vicious attack on defenseless children. He was addressing on the Special Holy Mass and candles light ceremony organized by Fr. Alyas Gill and Pakistan Christian Association (PCA) at Saint Rose of Lima Church, Brooklyn, New York, to show solidarity with the victims of Peshawar carnage.

He said, In this moment of limitless grief and disappointment, the condolences of around the world are with the families of martyred innocent children. May God provide them courage to bear this terrible tragedy and may the souls of the innocent children Rest in Peace. He recalled that on 16th of this month, six Taliban Militants, wearing military uniforms entered the Army Public School in the city of Peshawar where they killed more than 150 innocent students and burnt alive a woman teacher with gasoline and said the students to watch her. Akram Gill expressed the militants proved that they were not humans, they were only bloodsucker monsters because no religion allow to attack on innocent defenseless children.The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, which testifies that TTP intends to break down Pakistan and sabotage world peace. He briefed, after the school attack, Pakistani Army killed 62 militants in an operation near the Afghan Boarder within two days. Afghani and Pakistani high officials re-affirmed their commitments to work together against the Pakistani Taliban on both sides of the boarder.
Akram Masih Gill informed that the day of December 16, inserted black chapter in the history of Pakistan. The country has suffered countless militant attacks on Churches, Mosques, markets and now in school. The people of Pakistan are united in this fight against terrorism. It is a high time for the Government and Pakistani Army to root out the terrorism from the country because you cannot sit and wait further to be attacked again. He said the state doesn’t allow to any one to spread violence or terrorism under the cover of religion because state plays its vital role for national interest and national prosperity.
Akram Gill appealed to the Christians around the world to special pray on Christmas Mass for grief families of Peshawar incident as well as elimination of terrorism and surveillance of Pakistan. On this occasion Fr. Alyas Gill (Perish Priest), William Shahzad (Chairman PCA), Baber Khokhar (President PCA), Pervaiz Rafiq (Ex-MPA), Mathew Eugene (New York Council Man), Arif Khokhar, Sabika Khan, Bibi Jan and Malik Nasir Awan also highlighted the current situation in Pakistan. A large number of Pakistani Christians and Muslims communities in USA are participated in the program.
