IG Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema addresses to a farewell Darbar held at DIG Office, Lahore

Lahore: Honest, Courtesy, Help and complete implementation of law are the core values of this force and we should make a solemn pledge that we will upheld it at all cost said Inspector General National Highways and Motorway Police Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema while addressing the officers of Central Zone in a farewell Darbar held at DIG Office, Lahore. Before the start of the proceedings a special prayer was made for martyrs of Peshawar carnage. Zonal commander DIG Bashir Memon, SSP Inkasar Khan, SSP Ghulam Jafar, Sector Commander Abdul Khalil and large number of officers & officials  of Motorway police were participated in the event.

IG Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema said that officers of Motorway Police are known for their core values of Honesty, Courtesy, Help and rule of law and it has turned into national pride which will be maintained even at the cost of our lives. IG Zulfiqar Cheema took a solemn pledge from the officers that they will make NH&MP as best force of the world and will never let their good name be stained.

On this occasion DIG Bashir Memon said that IG Zulfiqar Ahmad ideally improved merit and transparency in all the departments where he served and practically implemented rule of law. DIG further said that working with Zulfiqar Cheema is a matter of pride for him and this force will try its best to maintain the standards set by him.

SSP Inkasar Khan said that IG Zulfiqar Cheema has embossed basic values of NH&MP in the minds of the officers of this force and has considerable improved syllabus of Training College and field work.

SSP Ghulam Jaffar said that IG Zulfiqar Cheema has taken concrete steps for the welfare of this force and practically eliminated VIP culture.

Sector Commander Abdul Khalil said that all professional hurdles automatically give way in front of high stature of Zulfiqar Cheema’s character and has took excellent steps for welfare of the force and rule of law.
