Punjab Government announces early winter vacations in wake of peshawar incident

Lahore: Spokesman of Punjab government Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri has said that all schools will remain closed from December 19, 2014 to January 03, 2015 while all colleges and universities will remain closed upto January 09 in connection with winter vacations throughout the province.

He told that all public and private schools will remain closed from December 19, 2014 to January 03, 2015, while winter vacations in all colleges and universities will be from December 19 to January 09.

He said that the institutions where examinations of students were being conducted, the remaining papers will be held after vacations. The announcement of vacations will apply to all private and public educational institutions.
