Professor Nizam uddin appointed chairman HEC Punjab

Lahore: Punjab Government has appointed eminent educationist professor Muhammad Nizam Uddin chairman Higher Education Commission.He had served as a head of different departments including VC University of Gujrat .Present government has awarded him Sitara-e-Imtiaz for his services in education sector.

The first chairman of HEC Punjab professor Muhammad Nizam Uddin is working for the education sector since 45 years and had served  in the universities of Jordan,Egypt,Oman,Ethiopia,America and Europe under the United Nations system.

Professor Dr Muhammad Nizam Uddin got his master’s fellowship from University of Chicago in 1969 and was awarded PHd degree from University of Michigan.He came back to homeland with the mission to serve in education sector and remained VC university of Gujrat from 2006 to 2014
