Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza and Fateha Khawani arranged for martyrs of Peshawar in different cities

Lahore: Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza and Fateha Khawani were arranged for martyrs of Peshawar in different cities of the province. Special prayers were offered in public and private educational institutions in Punjab in which students, teachers, provincial ministers, members national and provincial assemblies and people from all walks of life participated.

A big gathering of Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Badshahi Mosque, Lahore where acting Governor Punjab Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Sher Ali Gorchani, Provincial Ministers, Chief Secretary, IG Police, Members Provincial and National Assembly, President Lahore Press Club Muhammad Arshad Ansari and people belonging to all schools of thought offered Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza led by Khateeb Badshahi Mosque Abdul Kabeer Azad.

Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, teachers and students offered special prayers at MAO College Lahore for martyrs of Peshawar. Similarly, Principals, teachers and students attended Quran Khawani at Queen Mary College, APWA College for Girls and other colleges.

Namaz-e-Janaza of martyrs of Peshawar was offered at Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Jehlum, Nankana Sahib, Gujranwala, Gujar Khan, Kahuta, Daska, Pasrur and Kamoki. Members National and Provincial Assemblies, Commissioners, DCOs and DPOs attended Namaz-e-Janaza of martyrs and expressed condolences with the bereaved families. Thousands of people attended Namaz-e-Janaza of student Umar Arshad of Kamoki at Gujranawla and prayed for the departed soul.

Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza of martyrs of Peshawar was offered at Police Lines Ground Faisalabad where Assembly Members, Commissioner, DCO, DPO, office-bearers of Anjuman-e-Tajran and a large number of people participated. Various NGOs and Christian community held memorial services at Dhobi Ghat and Saint Peter Church. On the direction of DCO Faisalabad Noor-ul-Ameen Mangal, Art Council suspended cultural activities in the city for two days in mourning of Peshawar.

Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza and Quran Khawani for martyrs of Peshawar were arranged at Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh and Gujrat where District Police, Administration, Assembly Members and a large number of people attended. Similarly, Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza, Quran Khawani and memorial services were held for martyrs of Peshawar at DG Khan, Multan, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Jhang, Sahiwal and other cities of the province.
