Sugar mills are bound to procure sugarcane at the fixed rate :Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that sugar mills are bound to procure sugarcane from the growers at the fixed rate and Punjab government will protect the interests of cultivators at any cost. He said that instructions have been issued to administration to take action against sugar mills not procuring sugarcane from the farmers at the fixed rate. The Chief Minister said that he is monitoring the situation and no one will be allowed to act arbitrarily. Shahbaz Sharif said that the rate fixed for sugarcane will not be reduced.
