Minister of state for Education distributes laptops among students of University of Education

Minister of state for Education distributes laptops among students of University of EducationLahore: Minister of state for Education Baleegh ur Rehman said that  young, talented and educated generation is the future of our nation and Pakistani government is spending a huge amounts on the welfare projects for the youth to enable them  meet the challenges of future. Bright future of Pakistan is only related with the rule of merit and current government under the leadership of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is introducing so many welfare projects and initiatives that is a good sign for our country. Rapidly changing world scenario demands the scientific and technological education that is the basics of modern era.

He was addressing laptops distribution ceremony under Prime Minister Laptop Scheme among boys and girls students of University of Education at Renala Estate Okara Campus. Laptops were distributed among various students of different programs at graduation and masters level in the ceremony.

Vice Chancellor University of Education Dr.Faiz ul Hasan briefed about some university aspects, academic and nonacademic activites, prominent figures, shining results and said that UoE has a unique name for quality teachers education among all other varsities of Punjab. He advised the students to use laptop in a good manner for the betterment of nation and country.

MPA’s Javeed Alo u Din,Mian Munier, Exective Director HEC Dr,Mansoor Akbar Kunddi, Principal Okara Campus Dr.Khalid Saleem, District representative, prominent personalities of town, teachers and a large number of students participated in the ceremony. The ceremony venue was decorated with national flags, flowers and all around the banners having colorful wordings to show the impact and importance of education.

Addressing the ceremony Federal Minister said that it was the vision of PM who wanted to provide all required facilities to the students so that they could devote themselves fully to education and became proud Pakistanis. He stated that education and health are top priorities of PM and CM Punjab and special steps have also been taken to expand these facilities in rural and urban areas as well.

The students appreciated the laptop distribution ceremony initiative from the Government side and hoped that these kinds of project would continue in future.
