Philosophy of Iqbal is a beacon of light for the youth: Rana Arshad

Lahore: Parliamentary Secretary Information & Culture Rana Muhammad Arshad MPA has said that philosophy of Iqbal is a beacon of light for the youth and we can lay the foundation of a strong and stable country by following his vision. He said that Quaid-e-Azam supported the vision of Allama Iqbal due to which Pakistan was created.

He expressed these views while addressing a function in connection with Iqbal Day at City School System Johar Town today. He said that promotion of philosophy of Iqbal in schools is a commendable step. He said that if we succeeded to convey the ideals of Iqbal to our coming generation, no one can defeat Pakistan. He said that Pakistan is reflection of the ideas of Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Madar-e-Millat, therefore, we will have to further strengthen it instead of making a new country.

Rana Arshad said that economy of the country is strengthening due to policies of present government and the day is not far off when it will be included in the developed countries. He said that Pakistan has become an atomic power and we should be proud of it. He said that we can also march forward for resolving Kashmir issue by following philosophy of Iqbal. Parliamentary Secretary Rana Muhammad Arshad, Principal Mrs. Zobia Khan, Vice Principal Zain Tariq and senior teacher Saima Haroon distributed cash prizes and certificates among the students getting prominent position in reciting Kalam-e-Iqbal.
