Shahbaz Sharif constitutes a committee to redress complaints regarding SRO 608

Hamza ShahbazLahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of complaints regarding FBR particularly SRO 608 on the joint application of Rawalpindi and other chambers of commerce and constituted a high level committee led by Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif for considering reservations and formulating recommendations for their redressal.

Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Members Parliament Pervaiz Malik, Mian Abdul Manan, Rana Sanaullah and other senior members will be included in the committee. The committee will formulate recommendation in consultation with chambers of commerce & industry and traders’ organizations for redressal of complaints about SRO 608. First meeting of the committee will be held in Lahore on November 26.

Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the problems of business and trading community will be resolved on priority basis. He said that chamber of commerce & industry and traders’ organizations are the backbone of national development. The Chief Minister said that on the return of Finance Minister from abroad, complaints of traders’ community will be removed in the light of recommendations of special committee and all possible steps will be taken for removing their reservations.
