Motorway Police foil an attempt of kidnapping for ransom and killed one Kidnapper

Inspector General Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema1Lahore: Motorway Police M-2 North has foiled an attempt of kidnapping a man  for ransom named Farhan Saeed s/o Shaikh Muhammed Saeed aged 25 year after Killing  one kidnapper namely Muahmmed Nadeem  and arrested three  Muhammed Bilal , Shahzaib and Women including one year old baby girl as well .

  As per details, Motorway Police wireless  control received an information that some kidnappers have kidnapped 25 year Old boy for ransom from Gujranwala and heading towards Motorway (M-2).

The patrolling officers Khurram Shad and Amjad Mumtaz spotted white car, registration no LEC-3356 near Salam Interchange in which four persons were boarded. The patrolling officers tried to stop them but one of them  came out from the car and started firing on Motorway Police officers. In the retaliation NH&MP officers also started firing after   exchange of fire one culprit naming Muhammed Nadeem was injured and shifted to the hospital where he could not survived  The other  three   were arrested namely Muhammed Bilwal , Shahzaib and women Shamshad Begum including her one year old baby girl. The Kidnapped person remained safe  while dead body and arrested criminals were handed over to local police for further investigation.

The Inspector General, National Highways & Motorway Police Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema has appreciated this act of bravery  and has  announced Rs 50 thousand cash reward for the police officers. He also presented congratulation to the parents  on the unhurted recovery of their son.
