Lahore police arrest MDs of pharmaceutical who supplied substandard medicines to DHQ Hospitals

Lahore: Sadr Division Police have arrested MDs of medisearch and medicina pharmaceuticals who supplied substandard medicines to DHQ Hospitals Hafizabad.Raiding teams have also cealed the factories.

According to the spokesman pf CCPO Lahore,On the directions of CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif,City Raiwind police raided medicina pharmaceuticals that had supplied substandard and low grade syrup Almajax to DHQ Hospital Hafizabad and arrested MD Riasat Ali,Quality Control Manager Nauman Ahmad,Production Manager Zuhra Sameen.Police team also raided at medisearch pharmaceuticals that supplied poor quality medicine Ofcil to DHQ Hafizabad and arrested Director Operations Aneez Ali Nagra.Raiwind City and Manga Mandi Police have registered FIRs against the administration of both pharmaceuticals companies.

Health Department Drug Testing Laboratories have also declared the medicines supplied by these companies” injurious”.
