Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman inaugurated the poster exhibition comprised of 50 research papers of postgraduate scholars participating in the three-day conference.

He said that Pakistani students had a great potential and they were doing quality research, which was at par with international standards. He laid a stress on mutual collaboration between the research and development organisations, departments and universities, saying that it was not possible for single department to have all the necessary equipment and research facilities.

Dr Muhammad Zakria Butt, the conference chairman and Professor Rafi Chair, said that more than 30 eminent physicists from all over Pakistan also read their papers at the four technical sessions of the conference on the second. He also said that a culture would also be organized in the honor of the participants of the conference.
