Police push start vehicles will also have tracking system

LAHORE  POLICE VEHICLELahore: Provincial Minister for Home Col. (R) Shuja Khanzada has said that tracking system will be installed through PITB in all police vehicles which will be linked with Emergency Call Service 15 so that any emergent situation could be tackled in a better manner.

He said that while presiding over a meeting with regard to improving law and order and policing system at Civil Secretariat here today. Shuja Khanzada said that resolution of public problems relating to police is top priority as desired results can only be achieved by strengthening mutual relations between people and police. He said that eight hundred police officials deputed at unimportant places have been called back and posted at police stations whereas more police constables are also being called back. He said that according to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, police will be made “Khadim” of the people in the real sense. He said that government will provide all possible resources to the police for discharging its professional responsibilities and it will be equipped with all necessary equipments and weapons.Minister Home col shuja khanzada,police

Shuja Khanzada said that as a pilot project, night vision cameras will be installed in all entry and exit points of provincial metropolis. He said that a plan is also being considered to divide police system of Lahore city into three districts which will improve governance considerably. The Provincial Minister said that in case of protest on any issue by the people belonging to any section of life, concerned Minister and Secretary will have to come forward whereas police will assist them in this regard. He said that the work will soon be started on the project of making buildings of 84 police stations of Lahore as state-of-the-art. Shuja Khanzada said that the representatives of PITB are being posted at police stations who will note the complaints on computer and the concerned DSP and SHO will hold meeting daily at night to redress these complaints. He further said that a foolproof strategy is being evolved for further improving patrolling system in respective areas of police stations, upon which, implementation will soon be started. Capital Police Officer Ameen Wains, DIG Operation and other senior police officers were present on the occasion.
