Country Head of DFID Richard Montgomery calls on CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore: Country Head of British Department for International Development (DFID) Richard Montgomery met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here today. DFID cooperation in ongoing skill development, education and health programme were discussed on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that comprehensive reforms are being introduced in education and health sectors. He also appreciated the cooperation of DFID in education and health sectors. He said that skill development programme for imparting vocational education to the youth is also continuing successfully with the cooperation of DFID. Shahbaz Sharif said that work force is being prepared under skill development programme to meet the market needs. He said that public health facilities are also being improved under Punjab Health Reforms Roadmap. Richard Montgomery said that Punjab government led by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has shown commendable performance in education and health sectors.
