Computerized number plates will be TCS to owners from November 20

Computerized-Number-Plates-Delivery-through-TCS-in-PunjabLahore: Excise and Taxation Department Punjab has started sending computerized number plates of car, motorcycle and rikhsaw owners at their homes through TCS from November 20, 2014.

Secretary Excise & Taxation Khalid Masud Chaudhary and Director General Excise & Taxation, Director Excise & Taxation (H.Qrs) Qadir Ahmed Bajwa and other officers gave briefing to media at DG Office and also arranged visit for the media to the factory preparing computerized number plates.

During the briefing, Imran Aslam Director Excise & Taxation (Region C), Lahore replied to the questions of media. He said that the process of supplying number plates will be started from November 20 and representatives of all districts Excise & Taxation offices have been called to Directorate General Office for giving them number plates by hand so that these number plates should be available in motor branches of all districts on November 20. He said that in future, computerized number plates will be supplied to the vehicle owners at their homes through TCS without any delay.
