Pakistan ‘B’ girls clinch practice kabaddi thriller

Pakistan ‘B’ girls clinch practice kabaddi thrillerLahore: The participants of national women kabaddi training camp, besides physical exercises, also played a practice match on Friday at the Punjab Stadium where Pakistan women kabaddi team is preparing for the grand event of Kabaddi World Cup 2014. The World Cup event will be played in India next month.

The 30 probables were divided into two sides – Pakistan ‘A’ and Pakistan ‘B’. “Pakistan ‘A’ team was led by national team skipper Madeeha Lateef while Neelum Riaz was assigned the duties of Pakistan ‘B’ captaincy.

Pakistan ‘B’, after a thrilling battle, edged out their rivals by a narrow difference of 44-42 points. Pakistan ‘B’ skipper Neelum Riaz, Martha and Nuzhat Perveen excelled for the winning team and while Madeeha Latif and Razia Sultana demonstrated wonderful form for the other team in the practice clash. After the match, skipper Madeeha pointed out some weaknesses in the playing techniques of some probables and asked them to overcome their frailties as early as possible.
