Lahore: CIA Civil Lines Police have sent former Governor Punjab Gulam Mustafa Khar’s son Hussain Khar from his fifth wife Ayesha Butt to jail on judicial remand in a dacoity case of Defence A Police Station whereas his three fellows Muhammad Ibrahim Cheema,Muhammad Fahad Zeeshan , Muhammad Ans are still in police custody on physical remand.
CIA Police have claimed that the accused have confessed 12 incidents of crimes including dacoity and Hussain Khar took part in 9 criminal acts.They also confessed a murder on resistance during dacoity but it was yet to confirmed by police.
Hussain Khar passed his graduation from a local university,he has one brothers Muhammad Mustafa Khar and one sister and lived with his family in Askari Flats.Hussain And Ans are fast friends and the other two Muhammad Ibrahim Cheema,Muhammad Fahad Zeeshan recently joined their group.They committed first dacoity in Defence Area and looted 150 thousands,after that Hussain Khar started taking heroin from the looting money .Later he made a plan for dacoities to fill his desire of addiction of heroin.
They used Ans car LRV-9242 registered in his father Muhammad Idrees name after changing its number plates during dacoities.On 29th of October,they were going for fun on Airport Road without changing the number plates of the car and on the way robbed a passerby Malik Shahid and had made him compelled to draw more money from the bank’s ATM and caught by CCTV cameras.
Police with the help of car’s number ,traced Ans and made his investigation after arresting him who after 30 minutes disclosed all the crimes they had committed.
A criminal case of torturing a presiding officer during general elections 2013 had also been lodged against Hussain Khar in Muzaffargarh .
DSP CIA Civil Lines Saleem Mukhtar Butt has the view that it could have been a more challenging gang for police ,if Hussain Khar and his fellows were not caught as they had made a plan to kidnap well off people for ransom in the posh areas of the city too.
