International Tablighi Ijtima is commencing from Thursday

Lahore: A 3 day international tablighi ijtima is starting from Thursday here in Raiwind,Lahore,Hundreds of thousands of people from all over the globe are participating in this religious meeting.Thousands of people have reached Raiwind a day before the commencement of the Ijtima.

The ijtima would be in 2 phases,first session is starting from November 6 to 9 and the second session would be commenced from November 13 to 16.Then the collective pray would be offered.

More than 4 thousands cops would provide security to the participants of the Ijtima whereas 700 wardens will perform their duty to maintain traffic smooth during the Ijtima.DIG Ops Dr Haider Ashraf today visited the Raiwind Tablighi Markaz and review the security measures.While talking to media he assured that foolproof security would be provided to the participants of the ijtimah.

Police have also conducted a search operation in the woe hours of Wednesday night for ensuring law & order during the Ijtima that is considered to a second largest gathering in Muslim world after Hajj.

Police have established a control room to monitor the Ijtima round the clock,21 points have been marked for checking of the vehicles and 16 check post have been established for ensuring peace whereas Elite Police squads will also do patrolling duty in vicinity of Raiwind.
