No child died due to negligence of doctors in Allied Hospital:MS Dr Rashid

Lahore: Medical Superintendent Allied Hospital Faisalabad Dr. Rashid while terming the news regarding deaths of children in the hospital due to alleged negligence of doctors as baseless has said that no child died due to negligence of doctors in Allied Hospital. He said that despite heavy rush of patients and shortage of staff, no patient is refused treatment and best treatment facilities are provided to all patients.

Dr. Rashid further said that other hospitals also refer children in serious condition to Allied Hospital but despite shortage of beds in nursery, treatment is provided to every child.

Medical Superintendent further said that the news regarding medical equipment and machinery being out of order is also not correct. He said that only two incubators are under repair, of which, one incubator will be made functional in next 24 hours.

It is pertinent to mention here that a national TV channel has claimed that more than two thousands infants have died in Allied Hospital Faisalabad due to poor facilities of treatment in just 9 months.The MS cleared that no child died due to negligence of the Drs but he did not make it clear that how many children died due to non availability of facilities or out of order medical equipment and machinery.
