Rangers holds flag lowering ceremony with traditional zeal at Wahga Border

Lahore: Punjab Rangers held flag lowering ceremony with traditional zeal at Wahga Border ,Corps Commander Lahore General Naveed Zaman,D G Rangers Khan Tahir ,CCPO Lahore Capt Muhammad Ameen and other dignities attended the gracious ceremony.Hundreds of people reached Wahga Border despite a carnage just before a day and shouted sky touching slogans of Pakistan Zinda Bad,Naara-e-Takbeer to show their high moral.

Corps Commander Lahore General Naveed Zaman said that world has seen that cowardly terrorist acts could not demoralized Pakistani Nation.He appreciated the passion of the forces and the Lahorites and said I must say that they have shown a great zeal by joining the flag lowering ceremony.

Corps Commander Lahore General Naveed Zaman also expressed grief and sorrow on the incident and prayed for eternal peace for the souls of the  martyrs .Extra ordinary security measures were also taken during the ceremony.

During the flag lowering ceremony,Indian side of Wahga Border was empty as yesterday Pakistani authorities have requested for simple flag lowering ceremony due to the carnage.Today,few hours before the ceremony ,Pakistani authorities change their mind and announced to organize the flag lowering ceremony in traditional zeal and zest.
