Lahore police arrange a flag march regarding Muharram-ul-Haraam

Lahore police arranged a flag march on the main roads of the city regarding Muharram-ul-Haraam on the direction of DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf. Flag march was supervised by SP Head quarters Umar saeed and SP Civil Lines Imtiaz sarwar.10 DSPs, 14 SHOs and several police officials participated in the flag march.

On this occasion, DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf said that this flag march is being arranged in all divisions of the city and the purpose of this flag march is to sensitize the people about their social responsibilities and give feel of Full Cooperation by police. Muharram-ul-Haraam gives us lesson of patience and courage and we should show patience in these sacred days. We have to move forward with patience. He said that we are utilizing are all available resources to ensure the peaceful Muharram-ul-Haraam and we have been trying for it since one month.

DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf has further said that comprehensive security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haraam have been done by Lahore police. All majalis and processions are being monitored through special control room. Lahore police is alert for Muharram-ul-Haraam security. Mobile phone will be suspended on the main routes of main procession on Youm e ashura. People will be allowed to enter any majlis or procession after proper checking on four levels. A booklet is provided to all cops deployed for security. So that they can serve efficiently.

DIG Operations has advised all police officials that any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated and this is our prime duty to secure the people and set reward in the shape of prays.
