Dengue larva is present in Iqbal Town

Lahore: Provincial Secretary Cooperative, Babar Hayat Tarar has said that 11196 indoor and 24222 containers were checked in Iqbal Town and dengue larva was present on 68 outdoor spots.

He said immediate after that, larva was destroyed through chemical spray in union council 111 Saidpur, 113 Dholanwal, 116 Johar Town, 119 Shahpur, 120 Razaabad, 132 Township I and II. He said that practical measures are being taken for elimination of dengue larva throughout the town. He said that speedy measures have been started for purging the heaps of wastage, water ponds and other places of larva.

The Secretary said that with the passage of time, substantial reduction has been started in the presence of dengue larva and soon larva will be overcome in the entire town. He said that citizens should ensure cleanliness and do not let accumulation of garbage in the town.
