Lahore: Despite the direction of DIG Operations,No divisional SP conduct open court in mosques on the eve of 1st Jumma in Muharram-ul-Haraam in their jurisdictions.
DSP Township (circle) Atif Hayyat arranged an open court in jamia mosque Khair-ud-Din Johar town, DSP Race course Safdar Raza Kazmi arranged an open court in jamia mosque Khizra mall road, DSP Kahna Iqbal Hussain Shah arranged an open court in jamia mosque Khajoor wali, DSP Garden town Meer Kashif Khalil arranged an open court in jamia mosque Tariq block, DSP Ichra Rana Islam arranged an open court in Darbar Shah Jamal, DSP Baghbanpura Qaiser Mushtaq arranged an open court in jamia mosque Mint colony, DSP Manawan Muhammad Nadeem Butt arranged an open court in jamia mosque Taj kot Kumbuh, DSP Samanabad Shahid Ahmad Khan arranged an open court in Noorani Muslim colony and DSP Iqbal Town (Circle) Khalid Mehmood Khan arranged an open court in jamia mosque Makki Nargis Block.
These open courts were arranged on the directions of DIG operations Dr Haider Ashraf. DSP Township (Circle), Race course, Garden Town, Ichra, Baghbanpura, Manawan, Samanabad and DSP Iqbal Town heard applicants in open courts and issued the directions on the spot. The people can participate in open courts and give their applications to senior police officers directly who were not entertained in the Police stations. Along with comprehensive security in Muharram-ul-Haram and deployment at all important places, open courts have been arranged by the police officers which are appreciated by the public and public paid thanks to Lahore police for these open courts through which police related issues are being solved.
Lahore police has entertained more than twenty seven hundred applicants in open courts. DIG operations Dr Haider Ashraf are monitoring all these open courts. All Police officers are directed to send comprehensive report after helping peoples in open courts. He said that this is our first priority to help peoples in open courts. He also directed to all police officers to deal people with polite attitude, otherwise strict action shall be taken.
