Punjab governments distributes laptop among Government Postgraduate College Bahawalnagar students

Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Communication and Works Mian Aalam Dad LalekaLahore: Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Communication and Works Mian Aalam Dad Laleka has said that Punjab Chief Minister has promoted merit through revolutionary reforms in education and examination system of the province and now it is moving towards improvement.

He expressed these views while addressing the function of laptops distribution among talented girl and boy students under Chief Minister’s Programme in Government Postgraduate College Bahawalnagar. Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bahawalpur Rana Masood Ahmed, Principal Government Postgraduate College Prof. Shafique Ahmed, ADC Bahawalnagar Manzar Javed Ali, Principals, teachers, girl and boy students of colleges of the district and representatives of civil society were present on the occasion.

Mian Aalam Dad Laleka said that knowledge takes the human beings individually and the nation collectively towards height. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has encouraged the talented students by providing laptops, solar lamps, education endowment fund and scholarship programmes for equipping male and female students with modern knowledge which is unprecedented. He further said that government is investing on the future of the nation and these laptops are being given to the students for acknowledging their brilliance.

Prof. Shafique Ahmed, Prof. Manzoor Ahmed, Deputy Director Colleges Ishtiaq Ahmed Cheema and other speakers while addressing on the occasion appreciated education friendly policies of the Chief Minister and said that government is paying special attention to education. They said that this achievement of Chief Minister Punjab will be written in golden letters in the history. As many as 149 laptops were distributed among girl and boy students of various colleges of the district in the function.
