Lahore:On the eve of 23rd of October,Diwali celebrations have been started with worship and religious songs of Ram -Sita in the temples of the city like other parts of the country.Fireworks and diye were also lightened . The largest ceremony of Diwali commenced in Krishna Mandir(temple) Ravi Road where chairman ETBP chairman Siddiq ul Farooq , senator Kamran Michael came to share the happiness of the Hindu Community .The provincial minister for minorities Khalil Tahir Sindhu joined Hindu Community in Anarkali Mandir.
The Hindu community stated that Diwali was celebrated for the rejoinder of Ram and Sita.It would be a news for all those who considered the Muslims extremists that number of common Muslims were also attended Diwali in temples including the Sikhs and the Christians to share the happiness of the Hindu community.
Communities also Prayed for the development , prosperity ,peace and brotherhood in the country.
