A few dozen workers of PTI stage protest against price-hike

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has staged a very poor show against price hike over billing outside Lahore Press Club today in the evening.PTI Punjab who announced a massive protest against price hike a day before could hardly gathered around 30 to 40 workers till 5pm.The workers shouted slogans against price hike and “go Nawaz Go’ and the leaders gave speeches and went back to their homes while waving victory signs.

On the occasion,General Secretary PTI Punjab Dr Yasmeen Rashid, Secretary Information Punjab Andleeb Abbas and President Lahore Abdul Aleem Khan said that the rulers have burdened the public with their luxuries and the people are paying for their extravagances, Imran khan will fight the corrupt and dishonest on his own. The movement of “Go Nawaz Go” has spread throughout the country, now during the visits of sharif brothers the slogans of “Go Nawaz Go” have prevailed. Imran Khan has made the people aware of their rights and the people have now rejected these rulers for their hypocrisy and lies. Nawaz and Shahbaz are monarchs, the country is sick under their rule.

They said that they demand that the overbilling should be taken into account, and the money should be returned, this government has already sunken their teeth in with their 70 billion and raised electricity bills. The suicide rate is increasing every day, 11 crore people are living under the poverty line but these rulers are shamelessly unmoved. Imran khan has celebrated the day for minorities and PTI shows its support to Pakistan’s minorities and their rights. In KPK corruption is ended, education and health system has been improved, FIR is registered without any corruption, in Punjab an FIR is registered after 2 months of sit-ins. PTI will stand alongside anyone who will face injustice in this country. They added that the protest rally in Gujrat will be massive, the nation cannot be fooled anymore, ‘Naya Pakistan’ is on its way.

The phony parliament that came in power with fake mandate will not be able to save Nawaz sharif. They also condemned the ban on ARY news for no reason, they added that the government is trying its best to suppress the voice of reason and truth. Besides the court’s decision the government is dragging the ban to overpower freedom of speech and honest journalism that criticizes the government for their mean ways. PTI stands with the journalists and condemns an another act of unreason from this government.
