CM constitutes a 5-member high level inquiry committee to probe the death of a young patient in Services Hospital

Dr Faisal MasudLahore: On the orders of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, a 5-member high level inquiry committee has been constituted for probing the death of a young patient Awais allegedly due to dengue. The inquiry committee will determine the causes of death of the patient as well as those responsible in case of negligence in the treatment. The committee will submit its report within 24 hours.

According to a spokesman of Health Department, Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University and Chairman Dengue Expert Advisory Group Prof. Faisal Masud will be head of the committee while its members include Commissioner Lahore Rashid Mehmood Langrial, DG Health Dr. Zahid Pervaiz, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali and Additional Secretary Health (Technical) Dr. Salman Shahid.
