Work starts on the development of Central Oxygen Supply System at LGH

LGH Principal PGMI Prof. Anjum Habib VohraLahore: Work has started on the development of Central Oxygen Supply System at the Lahore General Hospital and completion of this project would enable every patient in the hospital to get oxygen facility at the bed. The construction of oxygen tank has also been started. The project is being completed with the help of a donation of Rs. 48 lac donated by a financial institution.

This was told by Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra, Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and Lahore General Hospital here today. It may be noted that by virtue of personal efforts of Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra donations amounting to Rs. 10 cror have been received by the administration of LGH and a number of welfare schemes have been made with this money.

In this regard Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra told that installation of oxygen supply pipes to all the wards of the hospital has been started and a monitoring committee comprising Prof. Khalid Mahmood, Prof. Kahalid Bashir, MS Dr Pervez Imtiaz and Add. MS Dr. Junaid Mirza has been constituted. He said that the project would be complete up to 31st December of this year and it would help the hospital providing state of the art facilities to patients and their attendants.
