ZAEEM QADRI DISTRIBUTES EID GIFTS AMONG FLOOD AFFECTEES

CM Advisor Zaeem Qadri-2Lahore: Spokesman Punjab government Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri has said that the process of rehabilitation of flood affectees in flood-hit districts has been started. He said that Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited flood-hit districts during flood and personally monitored rescue and relief activities.

He expressed these views while distributing Eid gifts among flood affectees of Shahbazpur and Kan Maula in district Gujrat. He also inspected medical camps set up by Health and Livestock departments and inquired about the medicines and other facilities. DCO Liaqat Ali Chatha, MNA Nawabzada Mazhar Ali Khan, MPAs Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf, Nawabzada Haider Mehdi and concerned officers were present on the occasion.

Zaeem Qadri, Assembly Members and government officers distributed Eid gifts comprising flour, ghee, sugar, pulses, cold drinks and anti-mosquito lotion among 1200 flood affectees. Zaeem Qadri said that federal and provincial governments have provided funds of Rs. 14 billion for compensation of losses. He said that committees have been set up for redressal of complaints of flood affectees.

DCO Liaqat Ali Chatha, EDO Health Dr. Abid Hussain Ghauri and other officers informed Zaeem Qadri about the flood losses and steps taken for relief and rehabilitation of flood affectees.
