DIG Bashir Ahmad Memon awarded patroling officers for their honesty

Lahore: National Highways & Motorway Police set example of honesty and have returned one Lac rupee to original heir and uphold the core values of Honesty, Courtesy and rendering help to road users.

The Motorway Police officers Patrol Officers Zafar Ullah and Khalid Rahim of Beat 12, Maraka , N 5 C Central -I Okara sector, were  found One Lac Rupees at Slater House, Shah Pur Kanjrah, Lahore.

After hectic efforts they traced the owner of the said valuables and were handed over after completion of formalities. On the direction of Inspector General Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema , Zonal Commander DIG Bashir Ahmad Memon awarded reward  of Rs 5000 and commendation certificates to each officer in his office.

On this occasion DIG Bashir Ahmed Memon said the attitude of officers demonstrated core values that has been emphasizing time and again in darbar and meetings of IG NH&MP Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema.

The IG always stressed the officers to uphold the core values of department mainly honesty, courtesy and help now these principles imprinted on our hearts. He also congratulated the officers for setting the example of honesty.
