Joint session of the parliament adopted a resolution unanimously for strengthening democracy, supremacy of law and the constitution

No long march or short march can deviate us from our mission, PM NawazLahore: Joint session of the parliament has adopted a resolution unanimously for strengthening democracy, supremacy of law and the constitution. Prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif have said that the resolution adopted unanimously in joint session of the parliament for strengthening democracy, supremacy of law and the constitution is the voice of the entire nation, upon which, elected representatives deserve appreciation.

They said that the determination expressed by political parties in the joint session of parliament for strengthening democratic system and rule of law is, no doubt, a good omen and highly positive step in the political history of the country.

The Chief Minister said that the unanimous resolution adopted by joint session of parliament for supremacy of law and the constitution reflects strong determinations of political parties with regard to strengthening democracy and democratic system. He said that this resolution reflects the aspirations of the masses.

PM Nawaz Sharif has said that no long march or short march can deviate us from our mission whereas Opposition Leader in National Assembly Sayed Khursheed Shah said that nation and Parliament are united and PM will only come through the power of vote.

ANP’s senator Shahi Sayed said that Nawaz Sharif is not a PM of any party rather he represents 180 millions people.ANP is not supporting the government rather it is favouring the democratic system,he added.
