Wish,Vehari incident opens the closed eyes of Health Department: YDA

Lahore: Young Doctors Association has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad incident of tragic death of 7 innocent children in a hospital of Vehari and said that now the closed eyes of health administration should be open .

The YDA said Since 2008 YDA Children Hospital Lahore under the umbrella of YDA Punjab has been requesting the higher authorities to take notice of miserable condition of children admitted in Children Hospital Lahore and at various other hospitals of Punjab. Unfortunately no one took any notice despite several reminders.

The YDA said still one can visit the emergency & indoor department of Children Hospital Lahore and witness himself that 3-4 neonates on the same warmer & 4-5 sick children getting oxygen from the same source which results in poor oxygen delivery to all of them.

We all know that soon few drs in that hospital of Vehari would be suspended/terminated & held responsible for the death of these 7 kids.We r committed to our patients so we will continue our struggle for the provision of better facilities to our needy poor patients.
