CM announces financial assistance of Rs. five lakh each for every deceased’s family

Rescue 1122 teams, Edhi Ambulance,police and other rescue teams dispatched immediately after receiving the information and  shifted the injured after taking them out from the debris.

7 seriously injured were shifted to hospital by Rescue 1122 . It was double storey building. One lenter from right side fell on the prayer offerers. Provincial minister Bilal Yasin,CCPO Lahore Capt.Muhammad Amin,DG Rescue Punjab Dr. Rizwan Naseer and other senior officer of the district administration immediately reached at the scene and monitored overall rescue operation.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has devoted his day and night for the selfless service to marooned brothers and sisters. He has been visiting various rain and flood affected areas for the last six days to review the rescue and relief activities. The Chief Minister visited Head Trimmu Jhang, Chiniot, Wazirabad and Kot Momin (Sargodha) for ten hours today. Immediately on his return to Lahore, the Chief Minister visited Daroghawala where he expressed his condolences with the heirs on the loss of precious human lives due to collapse of roof of a mosque. He also presided over a meeting of Cabinet Committee for Flood Relief which lasted for two hours. Shahbaz Sharif continued to monitor flood situation late at night and issued necessary instructions to the concerned authorities.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of collapse of the roof of a mosque in Daroghawala area of Lahore and ordered immediate measures for the safe evacuation of prayer offerers (Nimazis) buried under the rubble. He directed that the rescue teams and elected representatives should immediately reach the spot and the rescue operation be conducted speedily. The Chief Minister expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives and ordered a thorough inquiry into the tragic incident. He also issued instructions for the provision of best treatment facilities to the injured persons and prayed for their early recovery.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif immediately after the visit of flood-hit areas reached Daroghawala and inspected the site of the tragic incident happened due to collapse of roof of a mosque. He issued necessary instructions to the staff engaged in rescue activities. Commissioner Lahore Division informed the Chief Minister about the ongoing relief activities. Shahbaz Sharif directed to further accelerate the relief activities and said that all precautionary measures should be adopted while removing debris. He met the heirs of the deceased persons and also announced financial assistance of Rs. five lakh each.

The Chief Minister directed that best treatment facilities should be provided to the injured in the hospital free of cost. Shahbaz Sharif said that he is deeply shocked over this tragic incident and equally shares the grief of bereaved families. Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin, Assembly Member Waheed Gull, Kh. Imran Nazir, Commissioner Lahore Division and DCO Lahore were also present on the occasion.
