September 6 was the living example of national unity and sacrifice: Liaqat Baloch

JI  Lhr PhotoLahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the September 6 was the living example of national unity, unanimity and  sacrifice.

Addressing a Defense of Pakistan programme in Islamabad on Saturday, he said that the country at present was confronted with a difficult situation as hostile forces had attacked the country’s unity and solidarity. Political, regional and sectarian biases were being fanned. He said the deficit of trust in every sphere must be overcome as irresponsible behavior and was a great threat to the country’s defense.

Liaqat Baloch said that the Constitution Avenue in Islamabad as also the parliament were the suffering from political ego, inflexibility and goalless confrontation. He said the political and democratic forces always showed political maturity but they had to retreat only due to their stubbornness and inflexibility.   He said, if the political crisis in the federal capital continued, the country’s economy would be ruined and serious threats would arise for the constitution and the democratic system.

He said the Opposition parties Jirga was making persistent efforts to resolve all issues through dialogue and under the constitution.

Liaqat Baloch said that Pakistan despite being a nuclear power, was facing new challenges on its eastern and western borders. He said Indians Prime Minister Narinder Modi’s outburst against Pakistan’s solidarity and existence were not a secret and he had started breathing fire against this country from the very beginning of his rule. In such a situation, the Pakistan government and the parliament should stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces for the defense of the country and foil enemy’s evil designs.

He expressed deep grief over the heavy losses of life, property and crops  caused by the heavy rains and urged all political and religious parties and social workers to rise for the help of the affected people.
