Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited the memorial of the martyrs of September war in Batapur today. He laid a floral wreath and also offered fateha. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Pak army wrote a new history of courage and bravery in 1965 war and defended the motherland.
He said that there is a need to revive the spirit of 1965 war. He said that the nation will have to pledge on this day that it will display unity and safeguard the country. Later, the Chief Minister also met the families of martyrs and ghazis of 1965 war.
