Lahore police take back security from former DIG Javaid Shah

Punjab PoliceLahore: Police authorities have amazingly taken back the security from the under threat former DIG Javaid Hussain Shah due to unknown reasons. The former DIG who was facing threats from the outfit organization since the police under his command encountered the banned LJ leader Riaz Basra in May 2002 in Melsi when he was performing his duties as DPO Vehari .

Since then,Javaid Shah was facing life threats from the banned organization and he was being attacked number of times by the terrorists but every time he had lucky escape. on continued attacks ,he sent his family to overseas and kept on fighting against the terrorists as a field police officer till he was severely injured in a road accident when he was serving as DPO Sahiwal.

After his retirement from the force as a DIG, Javaid Shah was given special security for his services to the country and for the department and was promised that he will be provided life time fool proof security but surprisingly Lahore police has taken back his security and he was requesting the authorities”please give me security”.

It is pertinent to mention here that a banned organization has set Rs 50 millions bounty for his murder.It was not wrong to say here that a Lahore police DSP Tariq Sukhera had been killed by the said outfit  already whom’s security had been withdrawn by the police authorities some years back.
