Wardag demands ruthless accountability for putting country on the road of prosperity

Lahore: Tehreek-e-Istaqlal president Rahmat Khan Wardag has appealed the apex court for the suspension of the government for three months and during this period allegations of rigging to be inquired,if rigging proved the government should announce mid-term elections and if rigging allegation would not prove,the government should complete its tenure. An indiscriminate accountability should be started after putting all the leaders including Allama Dr Tahir ul Qadri , Imran Khan ,all MNAs,MPAs,Senators in ECL and who ever proved a corrupt,tax thief,bank defaulter should be banned for politics for his whole life.

While talking to media Punjab organizer Tariq Murad,information secretary Muhammad Saleem and party workers here at his residence in Lahore,Rahmat Khan Wardag said until current electoral  system is there,landlords and multibillionaires would dominate in the assemblies.He demanded the immediate elections of the local bodies and transfer of power to them so development works could be started to redress the public problems.

He suggested that assemblies tenure should be minimized to 4 years,national assembly seats to be increased to 1000 and provincial assembly seats to 2000,19 provinces should be made on administrative ground,there should a high court bench in every division,construction of the five new dams including Kalabagh dam so country could be put on the road of progress and prosperity.
