Int’l Swimming Pool on verge of completion: Usman Anwar

Int’l Swimming Pool on verge of completionInt’l Swimming Pool on verge of completionLahore: Director General Sports Punjab (SBP) Usman Anwar has said that SBP will continue to serve Pakistan sports with devotion and in this regard no stone will be left unturned.

In a statement on Wednesday, he said that the SBP has been introducing fresh sporting facilities continuously to groom young talent in the country. “International Swimming Pool Complex, which is on the verge of completion, is yet another top level sporting facility in the provincial capital. Maximum construction work of the pool has been completed and final touches are being given to this grand project. The modern swimming pool will be functional within two months period,” he added.

Usman further said that the SBP swimming pool which is equipped with filtration and electronic systems, will be the first of its kind in the history of Pakistan. “There will be facility of warm and cold water in the swimming pool and the temperature of the water can be changed as per requirement of the swimmers and weather conditions. Security cameras are also being installed at the swimming pool,” he disclosed.

He said that the new swimming pool will be one of the modern facilities of the country. “It will help Pakistan in producing several international level swimmers. Our country has plenty of potential in every field including sports. It just needs proper grooming and international level facilities and training. And SBP is doing exactly that to make the future of Pakistan sports bright,” he further said.
