Pakistan Journalists Association UK concerned over torture on the journalists

Wajahat KhanLondon:Pakistan Journalists Association UK (PJA) is deeply concerned over the threatening behaviour and physical attack, torture on the journalists/Camera persons and of different TV channels, It is to be notes that the such kind of act made by the marchers of PTI/PAT also by Police in Islamabad on Saturday evening while they were performing in the line of their professional journalistic duty.

PJA also strongly condemns attack & vandalism on GEO TV Islamabad office and threatens to there staffer from the workers of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek.
PJA is writing to committee to protect journalists / Commonwealth Press Union and NUJ to highlight Journalists plight. PJA support the freedom of media in general and works for greater rights for journalists, associations and the networks.

PJA shows full support to Pakistani Journalists and offers solidarity and demands an immediate action from interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan so that perpetrators may be brought to justice and has sought protection for Pakistani journalists who are highlighting just the ground realities in the most difficult circumstances.
