Bilal Yasin inaugurates tree plantation campaign in the province

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin formally inaugurated tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling at Chief Minister’s Office on 7-Club Road today. Provincial Minister for Forests Muhammad Asif Bha, Secretary Forests and officers of Forests Department were also present on the occasion. Provincial Minister told that nine million saplings will be planted throughout Punjab during Monsoon Tree Plantation Campaign 2014, out of which 3.75 million saplings will be planted on the land of Forests Department, 0.60 million on the land of other departments, 0.40 million on the areas under Pak Army and 4.25 million on private land.

Talking to mediamen on the occasion, Bilal Yasin said that PML-N leadership has always given preference to national interests and welfare of the people. He said that the role of PML-N leadership is commendable. He said that PML-N has full support of the masses and during recent survey reports, people have expressed complete confidence in PML-N government.
