LGHLahore: The case of alleged change of newborn baby in Lahore General Hospital has reached its drop scene and according to DNA test report of forensic science laboratory Hina and Abid Ali are the real parents of the baby and the allegations against the hospital staff of changing the newborn have proved wrong and baseless.

Principal PGMI Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra and Medical Superintendent LGH Dr. Pervaiz Imtiaz informed that Hina Abid of Laliyani district Kasur was admitted in Labour Room of LGH on August 2, where a girl child was born to her but his family alleged that the hospital staff had changed the newborn and gave them a baby girl instead of baby boy. The Principal said that in view the sensitive nature of the case and to satisfy the affected family an inquiry committee headed by prominent gynecologist Prof. Dr. Farrukh Zaman was constituted who checked the record and also took statements of the staff.
