Supreme Court orders to clear Constitution Avenue

Lahore: Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered to evacuate Constitution Avenue within 24 hours.Vacating the constitution avenue should be the first step followed by the removal of containers.Chief Justice of Pakistan justice Nasir ul Mulk said due to sit ins judicial staff attendance has become minimum,tomorrow Judges will come to court through this road.

While hearing the 7 petitions regarding expected unconstitutional move,Five member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Nasir ul Mulk.

Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt said PAT,PTI have been offered the venue of sports complex for their protests.
PTI and PAT in their reply said that protest was a political matter and the court has no authority to intervene in it.

CJP observed that judicial staff attendance was very low due to sit ins,Judges have to come to court through other roads,judicial staff was also being harassed.Justice Jawad S Khawaja said that the court has buried the theory of necessity in 31st July 2009.
PTI lawyer Hamid Khan said the revolutionaries are on constitutional avenue,we are on parade ground where no state office is situated.
Further hearing is postponed till 27 of August.

Imran Khan is expected to announce change of venue of his sit in in the evening.
