Azadi and Inqilab march should give preference to the reforms to cool down the situation:Liaqat Baloch

Lahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the contacts between the political and democratic forces were a good omen and the leadership of the Azadi march and the Inqilab march should give preference to the reforms of the system to cool down the situation.

In a statement here on Saturday, he said that the demand of Imran Khan and Dr Tahir ul Qadri for the Prime Minister’s resignation could be considered only if the Supreme Court Commission after a thorough probe into the 2013 elections, proved the involvement of the Premier in the rigging. In such a situation, the Prime Minister and all the assemblies would go and fresh elections would be held during which time, necessary electoral reforms could be carried out.
