Lahore: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif hosted a luncheon in the honour of PPP co chairman Asif Ali Zardari at Jati Umra,Lahore.Former president was accompanied by opposition leader Sayed Khursheed Shah,Senator Rehman Malik Raza Rabbani and Aitzaz Ahsan.Where as Finance minister Ishaq Dar,Khawaja Saad Rafique,Ahsan Iqbal and Frontier Regions Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch joined the meeting along with PM Nawaz Sharif.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman reached Nawaz’s Jati Umra residence in a helicopter where the Prime Minister personally received him at the helipad.
The two leaders held the one on one meeting to discuss the ongoing political stalemate caused by the protests led by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in the federal capital. Former President Asif Ali Zardari and PM Nawaz Sharif agreed not to let democracy derailed. Nawaz Sharif admired the PPP for its services and great sacrifices for the democracy.

ARY News channel has claimed that 72 dishes were served in luncheon including rice,mutton,kabab,Malai boti,daal,deer meat. Nawaz Sharif daughter Maryam Nawaz has condemned media report regarding the menu of luncheon and said menu was quite simple.
