Lahore: Parliamentary Secretary Information & Culture Rana Muhammad Arshad led an independence walk held in connection with independence celebrations. The walk started from Race Course Park. Members Provincial Assembly Khawaja Imran Nazir, Chaudhry Shahbaz, President Labour Wing Shahzad Anwar, Hafiz Abrar and Shahzad Khan participated in the walk.
Addressing the participants of the walk, Rana Arshad said that some elements want to create chaos and anarchy in the country but the people will foil their nefarious designs. He said that Tahir-ul-Qadri is neither a politician nor represents any democratic and political party, rather he is a spokesman of undemocratic and non-political approach.
Rana Arshad said that Tahir-ul-Qadri is a foreign citizen who wants to push the country into darkness on the behest of foreign forces. He said that patriotic people of the country will foil this conspiracy through its unity. He said that government has declared August as independence month and the celebrations are continuing throughout the province.
