Muslim Ummah problems could be solved only through their unity: Hafiz Muhammad Idrees

Lahore: Deputy chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, has said that the numerous problems being faced by the Muslim Ummah today could be solved only through their unity.

Addressing a large Eid congregation at Mansoora, he said that Israel’s aggression against Palestine was not something new as the Zionist state had thrust war on the Palestinians for seven times before. He said that since the US was fully backing Israel, the world community had not been able to play a meaningful role in this respect. In Kashmir, the genocide of the Muslims had been going on for several decades. He said that Pakistan could have played an important role in this respect but the incompetent and selfish rulers were least bothered about the Ummah’s sentiments.
