The killed girl was an insurance agent

Lahore: The girl’s body that was fished out from Harbancepura canal, has been identified as Mehnaz Akhtar daughter of Muhammad Mirza, an insurance agent resident of Muridke who left her home for going to job a few days back and was missing from that day. Muridke city police had registered a case of kidnapping on her father’s application and after identification of the body, the case is being amended as a murder case.

According to the Harbancepura police Mehnaz was working with a local boy Wajahat and she was seen last time with him.Wajahat is being investigated for Mahnaz kidnapping.
