Federal Ministry for Education holds 15-day training workshop for community teachers

Lahore: Federal Ministry for Education and Professional Training and Directorate General of Basic Education Community School Punjab jointly organized 15-day training workshop and certificate distribution ceremony at Govt F D Model High School Garden Town.

On this occasion, former CM Punjab Mian Afzal Hayyat, President Education for All Ikram Ullah Khan, school principal Dr Irfan ullah, Deputy Director Hafiz Imran and 180 community teachers were present.

Addressing the ceremony, Col Ikram Ullah Khan said that training workshops were a must to polish the professional skills of teachers. He demanded of the government to increase salary of community teachers from 5000 to 12000 rupees.

Mian Afzal Hayyat said that education played important role in development of nations so the government should focus on promotion of science and technology in the country. He said that the government should take care of issues of teachers and must resolve their problems. Later, certificates were distributed among the participants who attended the training course.
