Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, on Saturday, visited the house of Lt. Col. Zahir Shah, who was martyred in Fateh Jang suicide attack , at Badhbir, Peshawar, to offer his condolences with the bereaved family.
He expressed his deep sense of grief and shock over the martyrdom of a valiant army officer in the suicide attack which also caused the martyrdom of another Lt Colonel and some civilians.
Talking to the media men afterwards, he said that establishment of peace in the country was the collective responsibility of the nation. He sad that Pakistan had suffered irreparable loss by joining the so called terror. He said that more than 45000 civilians besides over 5000 military men had been martyred in this war while the financial loss was estimated at more than one hundred billion dollars.
He said that those crying for operation were not well wishers of the country.
