PFUJ announces Black Day to condemn one year of anti workers govt.

Afzal Butt president PFUJLahore: PFJU president Afzal Butt has said that Media in Pakistan is striving for life and job security but government is mum over the prejudice being extended towards media community by dysfunctional institutions and non cooperative media houses in implementing the true sprite of wage awards.
He said in these circumstances, Journalists bodies Pakistan including Federal Union of Journalists-PFUJ, All Pakistan Newspapers Employees Confederation-APNEC and Council of All Pakistan Press Clubs-CAPPC will observe black day across Pakistanon June 6,2014 against anti workers policies of present government completing 1st year of tenure but has not paid any attention to give relief to media workers promised under various laws of state.
To protest the government’s criminal ignorance towards victimization of media community, journalists and media workers organizations will join hands to condemn the government’s failure and inability to provide life and job security and implement laws to protect jobs of media workers in media houses.
